The City of Alma is accepting applications for City Administrator. The position is responsible for coordinating, overseeing, and managing the operations of all city departments. Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in public administration, business administration or related field preferred. Individual with experience in personnel management, economic development and budgeting/finance is desired. Benefit package including medical, dental, vision, vacation and sick leave is included. The City of Alma is currently accepting applications for the outside utility floater position. Applications will be received until position is filled.  Applicants should have or be able to obtain a CDL, be able to obtain a Class IV water and wastewater lagoon certification as well as be able to become certified to respond in gas emergency situations. The successful candidate will be required to fulfill on-call weekend watch duties on a rotational basis and will perform other jobs in the various departments as directed by the Utility Superintendent.

This is a full-time position with a benefit package. Applicant must be 18 years of age or older and be able to perform various duties which are physically demanding such as bending and lifting up to 50 lbs. A pre-employment drug screening is required. Hourly wage is based on experience and qualifications. The City of Alma is an EOE.
