The City of Alma currently is now accepting applications for the appointed office of City Clerk until filled. A complete job description is attached below.
The City Clerk works under the direction of the City Administrator, Mayor, and City Council and is the primary public relations asset between the City and its citizens. As a result, a professional oriented, courteous, and respectful attitude is necessary. Computer skills are a requirement. Profciency or the ability to obtain proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Publisher are required. This is a full time position with benefits. You will be required to attend all City Council meetings and City Clerk training conferences provided by the League of Municipalities and other such training that is considered necessary to fulfill responsibilities. Salary is commensurate with experience. Salary range is $22,000 to $45,000. EOC Employer.
