Help Wanted - City Clerk


The City of Alma is accepting job applications and resumes for the appointed office of City Clerk until filled.  A detailed job description is available in the Human Resources section of our website www.almacity.com/employment-opportunities or at the City Office.

The City Clerk works under the direction of the City Administrator, Mayor, and City Council and is the primary public relations asset between the City and its citizens.  As a result, a professional oriented, courteous, and respectful attitude is necessary.  Computer skills are a requirement.  Proficiency or the ability to obtain proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Publisher will be required.

The City Clerk is required to attend all City Council meetings, various Board meetings, City Clerk training conferences, and other such training that is considered necessary to fulfill responsibilities.

This is a full-time position with benefits.  Salary is commensurate with experience.  Salary range is $22,000 to $45,000.  EOC employer.
